At a crime scene, the police check for fingerprints because they know that each one is different. Do you know that there are over 7 billion people on this planet and no two fingerprints are the same? How amazing is that? Your fingerprints are unique to you!

Scientists tell us that our fingerprints are formed in our mother’s womb during pregnancy.

The Bible says, ‘God knitted you together in your mother’s womb.’

When you were in there, God got busy styling you. And He wove your uniqueness into your DNA. There’s nobody else like you on the planet!! You’re 1 in 7 billion! You’re unique!

When God made you, he stepped back, took a look, smiled and then said, ‘Wow! I'm not doing that again!’

See, fingerprints are unique to you.

I know that some people don’t feel this way about themselves. Sometimes, this is because negative influences have damaged the original way that God styled them; so, they don’t feel unique.

Is that you? Do you know that God can repair the damage? He did this for Julie. If you’d met her when she was younger, you’d have seen what her life was like. Julie was brought up on a tough estate in the South. When she was a kid, she was surrounded by so many negative influences that this damaged the original way that God styled her. Julie didn’t feel unique.

Then, when she was 20 years old, she got friendly with some Christians, and they invited her to an evening event where J.John was speaking. That night, she asked God into her life. Since then, God has repaired the damage! Julie now knows that she’s unique, that she’s 1 in 7 billion! And I can vouch for that since I know Julie personally. When God made Julie, he stepped back, looked and said, ‘Wow! I’m definitely not doing that one again!’

What about you? How do you feel about yourself? Maybe negative influences have damaged the original way that God styled you, so you don’t feel unique. Listen. God can repair the damage to the uniqueness that He wove into you when you were in your mother’s womb! He did this for Julie once she asked Him into her life, and He can do it for you!! So, ask Him in. What are you waiting for??
